Y truan hwn a roes ei lef,
  A Duw o'r nef yn gwrando;
Gwaredodd ef o'i drallod drwg,
  A'i ing oedd amlwg iddo.

Glân angel Duw a dry yn gylch
  O amgylch pawb a'i hofnant;
Fel castell cryf
    fe'u ceidw i gyd,
  Yn iach bob pryd y byddant.

O profwch, gwelwch ddäed yw
  Yr Arglwydd byw i'w eiddo;
A gwyn ei fyd pob dyn a gred,
  Ac a ymddiried ynddo.

Ei ofni gwnewch, chwi seintiau glân;
  A bydd iwch' gyfran ddedwydd;
Can's nid oes eisiau dim sy dda
  Ar neb was'naetha'r Arglwydd.

  Rhan I - Bendithio wnaf fy Arglwydd Ner
  Rhan III - Yn erbyn pawb mae wyneb Duw
  Rhan IV - Yr Arglwydd agos yw at gûr
  Ar lais y tlawd gwrandawodd Duw

This wretch who gave his cry,
  And God from heaven listening;
He delivered him from his evil troubles,
  And his anguish that was evident to him.

The holy angel of God will encircle
  Around all who fear him;
Like a strong castle
    him will keep them all,
  Whole whenever they are.

O test ye, see ye how good he is
  The living Lord to his own;
And blessed is every man who believes,
  And who trust in him.

Fear ye him, ye holy saints;
  And happiness shall be your portion;
Since no want of any good thing
  Shall they have who serve the Lord.

6 "Behold," say they, "behold the man
     whom Providence relieved;
   "So dang'rously with foes beset,
     so wondrously retrieved."

7 The hosts of God encamp around
    the dwellings of the just;
  Deliv'rance he
      affords to all
    who on his succour trust.

8 O make but trial of his love,
    experience will decide,
  How blessed they are, and only they,
    who in his truth confide.

9 Fear him, ye saints, and you will then
    have nothing else to fear;
  Make you his service your delight,
    your wants shall be his care.
